under the big oaks

I took the art studio outside today and set up under the big oaks in our front yard. My boys joined me for some sketching and we met with a friend/calligraphy client. She brought me the white mini roses. White flowers are my fave!

wildflower

...a walk on the edge of spring at my husband's family ranch in S. TX . The ranch was in bloom and full of new life. We had a memorable walk while the baby napped in his Wella's arms in a rocking chair on the porch. We visited the family cemetery and took pics of the old haunted ranch house. A family of deer crossed the dirt road in front of us. I stopped and looked at each type of wildflower and cacti. I took some great pics of rusty ranch equipment. Check out the rust pics on my flickr.
